Creating the Final Piece

I first went onto indesign and created a 45x62cm document. I then created a grid to which i placed my text and images into. This allowed hierarchy and proximity.

Once all the images were places I added the line which allowed the viewer to understand how to read the info graphic. I had to make sure this stuck with the strict grid structure.

Using the pen tool, I added the curves that joined the lines together.

I then started adding text insuring that it was aligned with its perpendicular text.

This is how my first final came out. There were many areas that I was not happy with. Firstly, there was problems with the text which I believed needed to be justified. The title did not work and there was too much dead space. The subheadings also conflicted with the title and a serif typeface would fix this.

I changed the typeface to Edition and changed the colour so it was more in keeping with the colour scheme.

After I adjusted the subheadings, I also justified the text.
